HMS STARLING (U66) – Modified Black Swan Class Sloop

1/48 Scale  74” x 9.5” 

Built in Oct. 1942 by Fairfield Shipbuilding in Glasgow they proved to be less satisfactory than the original Black Swan Class due to added equipment & required extra strengthening.  After the war, Starling had armament removed and served as a Navigation School Tender.
